Raman and Jovel’s love story started the only way it possibly could: with Frangos. Jovel picked it for the first date, not realising it’s Raman’s favourite.
Raman was so nervy excited that he ate at lightning speed, and Jovel briefly wondered if he was about to make a run for it.
He wasn’t going anywhere, he was just trying not to embarrass himself with peri peri sauce all over his face.
After dinner, they went for a drink nearby and ended up talking until 1am. Jovel definitely knew the time, she was just happily delaying going home… even while her mum kept calling.
Raman’s favourite part of the night though was Jovel’s constant little smirk followed by, “You’re stupid,” which was basically the first sign she was already seeing the real him (and somehow liking it).
And once that first date ended, it didn’t really end. They saw each other three days in a row straight after, and the rest is history.
